Intro & Objectives for the course:
In this lesson plan, I will be walking you through the process of implementing a weather forecast video broadcast for your student run television production class. The final production will cover a wide range of real world techniques and examples and will teach your students how to create, manage and produce a professional weather forecast to insert into your news production.

This lesson plan is designed for novice to advanced students and can be implemented in a variety of ways. Depending on the complexity of the final product you seek, this production can be tailored to the experience of your students and staff.

By the end of the lesson, your students will learn how to act as a part of a television news team, gather information from outside sources, create custom graphics and package the final information into a weather forecast production ready for distribution.
